There are under 100 days remaining until the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, with a final batch of tickets now on sale.
Set to be one of the biggest sporting events held on Australian or New Zealand shores since the Sydney 2000 Olympics, there is a genuine buzz surrounding the tournament.
This has been reflected in ticket sales, with a large portion of tickets from the first two releases sold out.

A number of events were held across Australia and in New Zealand on April 11 (AEST), as the 2023 Women’s World Cup officially reached the ‘100 days to go’ mark.
Whilst the tournament will bring various social and economic benefits, it will also act as an opportunity to further boost the exposure and popularity of both the Australian and New Zealand national women’s football teams.
For the Matildas in particular, recent performances and star players – headlined by Chelsea striker Sam Kerr – have seen them become one of the most well-liked teams in the country.
