Canadian tennis star Bianca Andreescu says she can relate to Jessica Pegula’s recent situation “on the deepest level possible.” On Friday, Pegula celebrated her 29th birthday. On the same day, Pegula suffered a 6-1 5-7 6-0 loss to Barbora Krejcikova in the Dubai semifinal.
Hours after the match, Pegula took a selfie while eating a bag of Doritos and waiting to get on her 16-hour flight back home. “I feel this on the deepest level possible,” Andreescu tweeted.

Andreescu knows extremely well the challenges that players face
In 2021 December, Andreescu announced an indefinite break from tennis to address her mental health.
