As we draw nearer to the 2024 season, gym fans everywhere are preparing for their fantasy drafts. From freshmen to transfers and injury returners, it can be hard to keep track of all of the gems out there. We rounded up 10 picks who might be flying under the radar that you might want to add to your draft and help your team shine come January.
Farah Lipetz, Michigan
Lipez missed her freshman season with a presumed injury, but she’s healthy now and looking very ready for her Wolverine debut. Her form and presence on beam are what we’ve come to expect from Michigan beamers. She should contribute on bars as well.
Danie Ferris, Florida
Florida is awash in talented freshmen, but don’t let Ferris go unnoticed. She has been featured heavily on vault, where her easily stickable Yurchenko one and a half would do wonders for any fantasy lineup.
Alivia Ostendorf, Utah State
Ostendorf transferred to Utah State last year from Ball State and had a quietly excellent season. The three-eventer performed consistently very well on vault and floor and added beam as well. She’s exactly the kind of gymnast who fills out a fantasy lineup well and ultimately contributes important scores.
Sidney Washington, Ohio State
Another transfer, Washington left Pittsburgh to join the Buckeyes…
