Germany’s top-ranked women’s tennis player, Eva Lys, has officially been named a “Friend of the Brand” by Porsche, a move that solidifies her long-standing relationship with the luxury sports car manufacturer. This announcement comes as the 23-year-old prepares to compete in the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart, where she will face fifth seed Jasmine Paolini in the opening round.
Eva Lys’s connection with Porsche is not new. She prepared for the challenges of a professional career for many years as a member of both the Porsche Junior Team and the Porsche Talent Team—programs designed to nurture the next generation of tennis champions. These early affiliations have now evolved into a new role as a “Friend of the Brand”, reflecting the mutual respect and shared values between the athlete and the iconic German brand.
‟I’m incredibly honored to join the Porsche family – a brand that embodies so many things that I love: performance, precision, and elegance”, said Lys. ‟As I continue to push the limits on court, it’s great to be supported by a company that shares the same drive for excellence.”
