Former Indian tennis player Somdev Devvarman has been spending some time on the practice court with Emma Raducanu recently, via Sky Sports News. After going separate ways with coach Sebastian Sachs in June, Raducanu was left without a coach.
This week, British media reported that Raducanu was spotted practicing with her childhood coach Nick Cavaday at the National Tennis Centre. Cavaday is a very familiar face to Raducanu’s family as he worked with the 21-year-old during her childhood. After those reports, Sky Sports reported that former world No. 62 Devvarman has also been involved in some of Raducanu’s recent training sessions. According to Sky Sports, Raducanu hasn’t yet made any official decision as she has yet to decide if she will sign Cavaday to a contract and travel with him to Australia.
