Emma Raducanu seemingly had a productive last week as the 20-year-old Briton is preparing to return to action in Stuttgart. Last week, Raducanu did some bike exercises – practiced on clay – visited The All England Club.
Raducanu last competed at the Miami Open, where she suffered a first-round defeat against Bianca Andreescu.
After the match, Raducanu revealed that she was hampered by an ongoing wrist injury. But Raducanu seems to be doing well with her wrist as she is on course to kick off her clay season at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart, which is starting on Monday.
Raducanu set for her second Stuttgart appearance
Since last year, Raducanu has been the global ambassador of luxury carmaker Porsche. In Stuttgart, Porsche is the tournament’s main sponsor. In February, the tournament announced world No 68 Raducanu as a main draw wildcard recipient.
Last year, Raducanu made the Stuttgart quarterfinal before losing to Iga Swiatek. “Porsche Tennis Grand Prix is one of the best tournaments on the calendar. The Porsche Arena’s Centre Court is brilliant. I’m also looking forward to a drive or two in a Porsche sports car and experiencing more of the brand, like visiting the factory,” Raducanu said.
