Emma Raducanu occupied the seventh spot on the highest-paid female players athletes list with her $14.7 million but that also means that for a second consecutive year her annual cheque decreased.
On this year’s Sportico list of the biggest earners in women’s sports, six of the top-10 players came from tennis. The list is led by Coco Gauff – who netted a total of $30.4 million – while Iga Swiatek, Zheng Qinwen, Aryna Sabalenka and Naomi Osaka all collected in the range of $15M to $22M.
When it comes to Raducanu – one of the most marketable athletes in all of tennis – she pocketed just $671k through tournament prize money but also an impressive $14.7 via her endorsements.
However, it is significantly less than in 2022 – when she earned $23 million that year. It is also less compared to last year, when the 2021 US Open champion netted $16.2 million.
If Raducanu achieves her goals for 2025, the sum will very likely be bigger
After being limited to just five tournaments in 2023, the 22-year-old played 13 events this year. And since she was able to do some solid things in 2024 despite not playing that much, the Briton enters the 2025 season with the belief that she is “a dangerous player” who could do big things.
