Emma Raducanu has made a big rankings leap following her deep Nottingham run as the British tennis player is now ranked at No. 165 in the world after improving 44 spots on this Monday’s updated WTA rankings list.
Raducanu, who started last week ranked at No. 209 in the world, started her grass season in Nottingham on a positive note as she made her first semifinal of the year at a WTA 250 tournament in Nottingham. By doing so, Raducanu returned to the top-200 for the first time since launching her comeback at the start of this season.
When the 2024 season started, Raducanu – who was coming off three surgeries – was ranked at No. 301 in the world. Since then, Raducanu has almost cut in half that ranking and is getting closer to being a top-100 player again.

In Nottingham, Raducanu claimed two straight-set wins before No. 3 seed Katie Boulter edged her out in a thriller 6-7 (13) 6-3 6-4 in three hours and 13 minutes of play.
After the match, Raducanu was upbeat about her week and said she felt healthy, strong, and ready to play more tennis.
