Emma Raducanu will finally return to the court next season in New Zealand, at the WTA Auckland tournament, before playing the Australian Open, in Melbourne. The former US Open winner is currently training in London with her former junior coach Nick Cavaday.
The Britannica has been out of the WTA Tour since last spring and the three surgeries she underwent. Overall, since her triumph at Flashing Meadows, she has never confirmed herself as the champion everyone expected her to become.
Now, with her in London there was the former Indian professional tennis player Somdev Devvarman. Cavaday, although he has not yet been officially announced in the role of coach, should be on her box at the start of the 2024 season to try to bring the winner of the 2021 US Open back to important levels, after a couple of extremely disappointing seasons.
It is not yet clear whether the two will work on a long-term project or whether it is just a collaboration of this phase, to be able to prepare the Australian Open together. In the coming weeks in Oceania we will undoubtedly know more.
But the most important news is Emma Raducanu’s come back
For the WTA Tour, having her come back…
