Emma Raducanu has made another notable rankings improvement as the 21-year-old Briton is ranked at No. 69 in the world after gaining 20 positions on the updated WTA rankings list.
Raducanu – who started last week as the 89th-ranked player in the world – reached the quarterfinal at a WTA 500 tournament in Washington. And since the former world No. 10 wasn’t defending points, that solid run resulted in her getting closer to being back into the top-50 in the world.
After returning from multiple surgeries at the start of 2024, Raducanu was even once ranked outside the top-300. Also, she wasn’t a top-200 player when the grass season started but she has improved around 150 spots over the last two months.

Around this time a year ago, Raducanu was recovering from three surgeries and there were a lot of question marks regarding how her comeback would go.
But so far, so good as Raducanu has been healthy throughout 2024 and she has also had some notable wins and results.
