Elena Rybakina used her time in Madrid to visit the Buen Retiro Park, one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the Spanish capital. At the Madrid Open, Rybakina had a first-round bye before 62nd-ranked Anna Kalinskaya upset the Kazakh 7-5 4-6 6-2.
After a shock Madrid exit, Rybakina had some free time and she decided to relax by visiting one of the most historic places in the city. The Buen Retiro Park is a part of UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites and it features architectural and landscape collections spanning from the 17th to 21st century.
Rybakina happy to be in a position to inspire
Over the last 10 months, Rybakina has become a Grand Slam and a WTA 1000 champion, as well as a top-10 player.
On the court, Rybakina is very quiet and there is never any drama or controversy surrounding her. Rybakina is often praised by tennis legends and experts, who think the 23-year-old Kazakh is a perfect role model for young kids.
