Elena Rybakina went on a short trip to Sardinia after exiting Wimbledon. On Saturday, world No 3 Rybakina offered a glimpse into her day at Porto Cervo. 10 days earlier, Rybakina suffered a Wimbledon quarterfinal defeat to Ons Jabeur.

Before kicking off her preparation for the North American hard court swing, Rybakina decided to take some time off.“One day in Porto Cervo,” Rybakina captioned her Instagram post.

Rybakina enjoyed some quality time in Sardinia

After what happened at Wimbledon, Rybakina seemingly needed some time off to recharge a bit.

At The Championships, Rybakina was among the top favorites to win the title but she exited Wimbledon after Jabeur came back from a set down to beat the Kazakh 6-7 (5) 6-4 6-1. After the loss, Rybakina was asked what Jabeur did better this time compared to their 2022 Wimbledon final meeting.“Well, for sure she was making better decisions from the court than last year, I would say.
