Coach Patrick Mouratoglou thinks the WTA has gotten its Big Three version in the names of Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina. So far in 2023, Swiatek, Sabalenka and Rybakina are the three players who have by far shown the most.
After Sabalenka beat Swiatek in the Madrid final 6-3 3-6 6-3, Mouratoglou took to Twitter to give his verdict on what Sabalenka, Swiatek and Rybakina bring to the table. “WTA has its big 3! Sabalenka, Swiatek, Rybakina. The third one doesn’t have the ranking just because her points from Winning Wimbledon haven’t been displayed,” Mouratoglou tweeted.
