Elena Rybakina acknowledges there will be some tough competition in Stuttgart as the Kazakh is hoping to kick off her clay season on a positive note. Rybakina, 23, is starting her clay season at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart.
A WTA 500 event in Stuttgart is set to feature some of the biggest names of the game, including Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka, Ons Jabeur, Carolina Garcia and Barbora Krejcikova. “First Slam of the year I had such a battle with Aryna Sabalenka, but there are a lot of players who aren’t easy to play.
Barbora Krejcikova is a very strong player. Ons Jabeur is now back. Iga Swiatek won the tournament of course,” Rybakina told a Kazakhstan TV, via The Tennis Letter.

Rybakina has beaten Swiatek, Sabalenka so far in 2023
