Dylan Crews, LSU baseball follow Angel Reese, women’s basketball team’s lead with ring celebration

LSU seems to always be ready for its ring before the final moments of a championship have passed. Just ask Angel Reese and Dylan Crews.

And to be fair, when you’re en route to winning by a comfortable margin, it’s fair to start the party a bit early.

The LSU baseball team slugged its way to a commanding 18-4 win against Florida in the 2023 College World Series, earning the program’s seventh title in dominating fashion. And twice during the final two innings, Tiger batters busted out the Angel Reese “ring me” celebration, pointing to their fingers to show where they wanted their new piece of jewelry.

First, it was Crews, LSU’s star outfielder who tripled to leadoff the top of the eighth inning. He’d come around to score LSU’s 12th run.

Then, it was first baseman Tre’ Morgan, who drove in the team’s 16th run with an RBI double in the top of the ninth.
