Russian tennis star Daria Kasatkina admits she was left feeling scared for her friends and family during Wagner Group’s attempted coup this past weekend. On Friday night, Russia’s mercenary boss Evgeny Prigozhin announced his Wagner troops were going to Moscow “for a march of justice.” As the Wagner troops were making their way to Moscow, they moved through Voronezh.
Kasatkina, who has relatives and friends in Voronezh, was left terrified when Wagner Group entered the city. With Wagner Group just two hours away from entering Moscow, the mercenary group boss Prigozhin announced they were retrieving because they “didn’t want to shed Russian blood.”
