Daria Abramowicz comments on Iga Swiatek’s triumph

Iga Swiatek doesn’t stop anymore. The world number one trembled in Paris at the beginning of the tournament against Naomi Osaka but from the Round of 16 she left only 11 games to her rivals, crumbs and faced the world number two in the semifinals and the new world number 7 in the final.

In the usual post-match press conference Iga made the following statements: “This victory means a lot, the tournament was surreal from the beginning with a second round where we all know what happened (1-4 in the third set and sensational comeback against Naomi Osaka), from there I managed to improve my game in every match and I am really very proud of myself, there were great expectations and great pressure but I am happy to have faced all this”. In a recent interview, Iga Swiatek’s psychologist Daria Abramowicz reflected on Iga’s recent triumph in Paris.
