Daniil Medvedev became a father about a year and a half ago. This great personal joy, fortunately for him, did not influence in any way his results, which remain of the highest level.

The family often follows him and supports him on his numerous trips, especially thanks to his wife who tries to do everything possible to help him.

The Russian speaking to the Miami Open media spoke about the imminent start of the Miami tournament, of which he is also the defending champion, he spoke about his fatherhood and the sensations of being a parent.

“As a player, I don’t think fatherhood has changed me, but I hope it helps me mature a little I’m often still immature on the pitch, but I feel like I’m improving little by little every year. “It’s not easy with tennis because if you want to see your daughter often, your wife has to sacrifice a lot. She has to travel with the child and often it’s her who gets on the plane and not me. Getting on a plane with a child is not easy. I’ve done it a couple of times, but she’s done it ten times more than me,” he added.
