Danielle Collins says Iga Swiatek failing a doping test due to contamination didn’t cause her to feel any concerns regarding her supplement habits as the 31-year-old remains pretty convinced that everything she takes is perfectly clean.
During her Australian Open pre-tournament press conference, Emma Raducanu shared that she was bitten by an insect in Melbourne but refused to take an antiseptic spray because she feared that it could possibly contain something prohibited.
When revealing that, the 2021 US Open champion admitted that she is “quite sensitive” about what she takes – especially after Swiatek and Jannik Sinner tested positive for a banned substance because they unknowingly took something that was contaminated.
Following Raducanu’s revelation, reporters wanted to know whether Collins was also having certain concerns or fears following the Pole’s case.
