Courtney VanderSloot is one of the most-respected players in the WNBA, as the 15-year veteran brings a wealth of experience to the Sky. However, as Chicago hosted the Fever on Saturday night, the Sky lost the guard early in the game.

VanderSloot was diagnosed with a season-ending torn ACL on Sunday, a day after she exited against the Fever.
Courtney Vandersloot underwent an MRI yesterday that revealed a right torn anterior crucial ligament (ACL), an injury she sustained in the June 7th game against Indiana. Vandersloot will miss the remainder of the 2025 WNBA season and undergo surgery to repair the injury.
