Caitlin Clark became the No. 1 pick by the Indiana Fever during Monday night’s WNBA Draft, and Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson had a comical reaction to the news.
Clark enters the WNBA with an extremely decorated career at Iowa and now will be charged with leading the Fever, who are coming off a 13-27 season.

With Clark arriving to the Circle City, several athletes welcomed her to Indiana. Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson was among the athletes to do so, but he added a little twist by playfully challenging her to a 1-on-1.

While Richardson is known for being an explosive athlete with the pigskin, he’s an avid basketball player. At 6-foot-4 and 255 pounds and with his elite athleticism, Richardson certainly glides on the court.

It sure would be an interesting sight to see Clark and Richarson go off in a 1-on-1 but for now, the state of Indiana will settle for the arrival of the biggest star in modern WNBA history.
