Collier, Gray, McBride make up Unrivaled’s inaugural first team

Napheesa Collier, Chelsea Gray and Kayla McBride make up Unrivaled’s inaugural first team, the 3-on-3 league announced Thursday.

Collier, whose Lunar Owls enter the playoffs as the No. 1 seed and with a 13-1 record, has dominated Unrivaled — which she co-founded. She won the 1-on-1 tournament in February, led the league in scoring with 25.7 points per game while shooting 61% from the floor and finished fourth in rebounding with 10.6 per game.

McBride (22.23) and Gray (21.29) finished in second and third in scoring. Gray’s scoring played an instrumental role in turning the Rose’s season around after starting 1-4. They enter the playoffs as the No. 2 seed.

McBride averaged over one steal per game for the Laces and was crucial for them staying afloat as the team got hit by injury and injury.

Unrivaled’s second team features Rhyne Howard, Angel Reese and Skylar Diggins-Smith.

Howard finished fourth in scoring behind Gray with 20.5 points per game for Vinyl, while Reese led the league in rebounding, averaging over 12 rebounds per game. Diggins-Smith brought the clutch gene to Unrivaled, hitting four game winners for the Lunar Owls.
