Collectors have the chance to own this historic UFC card

With her dominating win at UFC 316, Kayla Harrison became the women’s bantamweight champion of the world, and arguably the most dominating female on the planet. With her submission Saturday night, Harrison now has her first UFC trading card where she is champion. Collectors can purchase the Topps Now card that features her newly earned belt around her waist. 

Harrison has a professional record of 19-1 all-time and is currently 3-0 in the UFC. She hit the UFC by storm with her submission against Holly Holm back at UFC 300. Since then she has dominated at UFC 307 against Ketlen Vieira and this past weekend against Julianna Peña. 

Topps has also announced an incentive for hobbyists looking to buy her Topps Now base card: anyone who buys the base variation will be entered for a chance to win an autographed one-of-one version. These cards are available until June 12th and can be purchased on the Topps website. One card costs $12, five cost $50, ten cost $90, and twenty cost $170. 

While women’s divisions in the UFC have not seen much love in the sports card market, Harrison seems to be someone who can change that. She has the special “it” factor that captivates fans and leaves them wanting more…much like Caitlin…
