CocoGauff admits to struggling, at times, with the Impostor Syndrome, which affects someone who she feels does not deserve the personal success achieved. At the same time, however, she also has her own ways of convincing us that these thoughts are not true or correct.
The young American tennis player, who turned 19 in March, has an absolutely respectable resume for a player of her age. She is a Grand Slam finalist, won three WTA titles, participated in the Wta Finals and she reached fourth place in the world rankings.
To these must be added the eight titles and the primacy in the ranking she conquered in doubles. Yet despite her impressive accomplishments to date, Gauff sometimes suffers from Impostor Syndrome, which manifests itself when she feels anxious and unsuccessful on the inside while being objectively very successful on the outside.

Coco Gauff told the WTA website: “When I go out on the court, I have a lot of self-confidence, but I think throughout my life, even when I was a junior and playing in tournaments, I have been very anxious about how well I was playing, and when I went out on the court, I really felt I could win the game.
