Coco Gauff has spoken extremely highly of Iga Swiatek ahead of their WTA Finals match, declaring the Pole “one of the best players of our generation” and also highlighting that she learns something new whenever she plays against the four-time Grand Slam champion.
Gauff, 19, and 22-year-old Swiatek have already played against each other nine times. On Wednesday, they will be meeting for the 10th time as Swiatek owns an 8-1 head-to-head against Gauff.
