Canadian women’s soccer legend Christine Sinclair announced that she will play her final international matches at the end of this year in an interview with Reuters published Friday. Though she’s capping off her career with the Canadian national team, Sinclair said she intends to continue playing in the NWSL with the Portland Thorns. Here’s what you need to know:
- On Oct. 19, Sinclair posted a video of hung-up cleats on Instagram with no caption, indicating her retirement.
