Day two of Paris Fashion Week and earlier this afternoon, Maria Grazia Chiuri unveiled the Christian Dior Spring 2025 collection to the fashion press. Guests like Anya Taylor-Joy, Rosalía and Yseult flocked to the historic Musée Rodin for the designer’s latest showcase, drawing inspiration from Monsieur Christian Dior’s equestrian mother, Madeleine Dior. Maria Grazia Chiuri also looked to the women of the Amazon throughout history (in particular Diana, goddess of the hunt) when crafting the athletic yet hyper-feminine collection. Artist and archer Sagg Napoli kicked off the show, shooting arrows along the catwalk as models paraded athletic yet feminine silhouettes (all in a monochromatic palette) to Charli XCX’s hit song Guess.

“So much black and white for spring. It felt more like winter. Disappointed the archer didn’t hit a bullseye but neither did the collection…” [babyjane]
“There was nothing new here, even by Maria Grazia Chiuri’s standards. It’s basically everything that Maria has already shown previously. Confused as to why they felt the need to put on a show with this collection?…
