Off of the heels of Menswear Paris Fashion Week and Vogue World: Paris, the Fall 2024 season of Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week gets into full swing today. Earlier (at 02:30pm Paris time), Maria Grazia Chiuri unveiled her latest couture collection for Christian Dior. As the French capital is set to play host to the 2024 Olympic Games next month, the Italian designer embraced the Olympic spirit and presented a lineup of silver and gold Grecian gowns and embellished bodysuits as a tribute to athletes from antiquity to present day. The walls adoring the vast tent erected within the garden of the Musée Rodin, became a tribute to the late artist Faith Ringgold and featured Ringgold’s Woman Freedom Now political poster from 1971, in addition to 32 recreations of her mosaics.
