Christen Press, Tobin Heath train together as they rehab from injuries

U.S. women’s national team stars Christen Press and Tobin Heath are back to working out, and they’re doing so together.

In a recent Instagram post, Press showcased herself and Heath running on a practice field. Press has been out since suffering an ACL injury in June while Heath had surgery on her leg toward the end of the NWSL season.

Both players recovery seems to be coming along, with Press posting a video of herself doing ladder drills in December.

Press is expected to return to the pitch in February or March 2023, USWNT coach Vlatko Andonovski said in late October.

Not as many details have been provided about Heath’s injury, however, with Andonovski just saying in October that the forward is “recovering.” He did not provide a timeline for her return to the pitch.
