Chelsea have completed the signing of United States international Catarina Macario on a free transfer following her departure from French side Lyon.
As exclusively revealed by The Athletic last month, the 23-year-old attacking midfielder will officially join the Women’s Super League champions on a three-year deal from July 1.
Boss Emma Hayes said: “Cat is one of the most intelligent, creative attacking players in the world who I think will blossom in this Chelsea team. She brings a great deal of flair, European experience, and an unbelievable winning mentality. I think our fans will really love her.”
