This year’s Women’s Super League title race is wild.
The penultimate weekend saw four of England’s best teams — and many of the most talented players — compete against one other, vying for the title as well as lucrative Champions League spots.
In order to wrap up the title with a game to spare, Chelsea needed to win against Arsenal and hope that Manchester United failed to beat neighbours Manchester City. And as the Manchester derby entered added time, that very nearly happened.
