Catherine Parenteau Announces End of Partnership with Anna Leigh Waters

According to multiple sources, Anna Bright and Anna Leigh Waters will be partnering together for the remainder of the 2025 year on the PPA Tour.

According to Catherine Parenteau’s Instagram post, the winningest women’s duo in PPA Tour history is officially done.

Parenteau and Waters started their partnership in early 2023. At that time, Waters played some with Parenteau and some with Anna Bright, before eventually choosing to play with Parenteau over Bright. 

Some stats about the winningest partnership in women’s doubles history: 

  • They end their partnership with a record of 155-6, for a 96.3% winning percentage
  • Won 40 matches in a row 
  • Won 31 titles together
  • Were the #1 seed on the PPA Tour for over a year and a half

Where do they both go from here?

There is time to make that decision, as the Veolia PPA Atlanta Championships (Slam) begin on May 12th.

The easiest/most seamless change

The easiest partners for both Catherine and Anna Leigh would just be a partner swap.
