After five years at Georgia, quarterback Carson Beck opted to keep playing college football following the 2024 season — but not with the Bulldogs.
Beck landed at Miami as one of the top transfer additions of the winter portal, and he’s now set to fill the shoes of quarterback Cam Ward, who’s off to the NFL as a likely top-3 draft selection.
Just weeks into his official stint with the Hurricanes though, Beck and his girlfriend, Miami women’s basketball star and influencer Hanna Cavinder, were reportedly the victims of an overnight car theft on Thursday.

Carson Beck, Hanna Cavinder car theft explained
On Thursday morning, Fox Sports South Florida’s Andy Slater reported that Beck and Cavinder had a total of three vehicles stolen overnight in South Florida. While Cavinder’s SUV was missing but later found, police were reportedly still looking for Beck’s two luxury cars, a Mercedes and Lamborghini.
