Caroline Wozniacki shares what’s her tennis perspective now after welcoming two kids

Caroline Wozniacki, 33, reveals she now has “a more laid-back perspective” but highlighted that she still very much wants to win every time she steps out on the court. Wozniacki, the 2018 Australian Open champion and a former world No 1, retired from pro tennis after the 2020 Australian Open.

After becoming a mother and welcoming two kids in 2021 and 2022, Wozniacki made a surprise return to tennis in August after being retired for three and a half years. Now at 33 and returning after a very long absence, Wozniacki proved in a couple tournaments she played that she can still compete at the highest level.

Most notably, Wozniacki beat Petra Kvitova and Jennifer Brady at the US Open before falling short to Coco Gauff in three sets in the round-of-16. After surviving the Wozniacki test, Gauff went on to win the US Open. Going forward, Wozniacki returns to the top of tennis but noted that she is “not putting unnecessary pressure” on herself.
