Caroline Wozniacki shares nostalgic words for Serena Williams: “Miss you”

A few months ago, in a long interview given to Tennis Channel, Caroline Wozniacki had beautiful words for Serena Williams. The two are great friends, and have supported each other during their professional careers and also in their off-court life. “She is a wonderful person. Not only is she the greatest player of all time, but she also had the merit of elevating women’s sport. She pushed me and all the other girls to play better and change gears so I could keep up with her. Serena is also exceptional off the court. She was the first person to call me when I was going through a hard time, she wanted to make sure I was okay. I love her very much.”

Wozniacki started her 2024 season at the ASB Classic where she lost to Elina Svitolina in the first round in straight sets and, in the final hours, she received a wildcard to the main draw for the upcoming 2024 Australian Open.
