The 2018 Australian Open champion Wozniacki made a grand entrance in a sparkly silver one-shoulder dress, walking through a tunnel of people who all held tennis racquets up in the air. The retired WTA player, now a mom of two, was honored with bust which will be exhibited in the House of Sport (Idrættens Hus) and the award from HRH Crown Prince Frederik.

The 32-year-old Wozniacki is the 39th member of the Danish Sports Hall of Fame, the first women’s tennis player among these honored sports legends in Denmark, and only the second tennis player alongside Kurt Nielsen. To date, Wozniacki, who spent 71 weeks on top of the WTA rankings, remains the only Danish tennis player to have won a Grand Slam in singles. (source: Extra Bladet)
