Caroline Wozniacki will not play any more tournaments this season, but her comeback will definitely continue in 2024.
Following her successful run to the fourth round of the US Open where she was stopped by Coco Gauff, Wozniacki told Danish media that she would not enter any more events in 2023. However, we will definitely see more from her in Australia, when the new season starts, as the Grand Slam in Melbourne is a big goal for her.
The 2018 Australian Open champion Wozniacki has recently returned to competition for the first time since retiring in January 2020 and giving birth to two children. After playing Montreal and Cincinnati, the current world No.623 became the lowest ranked player to reach the fourth round at the US Open since 2009, when Kim Clijsters won the title.
In the three tournaments that Wozniacki played this season, her win-loss record is 4-3. Most notably, she defeated two-time Wimbledon champion, Petra Kvitova, and the 2021 Australian Open runner-up, Jennifer Brady at the US Open.
