You know Candace Parker can never stay away from the game for too long, and now she’s back, but in a different way.
Making its debut this week is ‘Film Study’ a new show starring Parker that dives into the X’s and O’s of WNBA Draft prospects by breaking down their college basketball film. Presented to you by Bleacher Report, few are more qualified to give their feedback than the 3x champ, and in her new “mentor” role, she’ll be giving brutal feedback on technique and tips on how to run a pick-and-roll, while also sharing her unparalleled experience, expertise and unique insights with her guests and audience.
For episode 1, Parker welcomed Olivia Miles (who just transferred to TCU from Notre Dame) to break down their film in a cool theatre environment in NYC. “To me, this is one of those drills that you do every single practice from the time you’re in fourth grade,” Parker told Miles during her film session.
