Danielle Serdachny is getting her third shift of the game here. She isn’t going to play a ton as the 13th forward, but there are two ways to think about this — maybe she won’t be able to get her legs going because she isn’t getting a ton of reps or she can be the fresh legs this team needs later in the game to give them a spark.
She scored the championship-clinching goal last year at Worlds against USA in an exciting final, then was drafted second overall by Ottawa in the PWHL just weeks later. This is her third Worlds with the senior team.
