- Captain Christine Sinclair leads the way in experience, making her sixth career World Cup appearance.
- Defender Jade Rose was forced to withdraw from camp and World Cup selection due to injury. Gabrielle Carle was selected as her replacement.
- Canada will play a closed-door friendly against England on July 14 in Australia.
- The Women’s World Cup will run from July 20 to Aug. 20, with Canada facing Nigeria at Melbourne Rectangular Stadium on the first day.
