Ajla Tomljanovic does not believe in the “Netflix curse” thing and that appearing on Break Point has something to do with several withdrawals and surprising exits at the Australian Open. Of 10 players who were featured on the first part of Netflix’s tennis documentary, only one is still alive in the Australian Open draw – Felix Auger-Aliassime.
Tomljanovic, Paula Badosa and Nick Kyrgios didn’t even get to play at the Australian Open due to injuries, while Ons Jabeur, Maria Sakkari, Casper, Ruud, Taylor Fritz, Matteo Berrettini and Thanasi Kokkinakis have all lost at Melbourne Park.

Tomljanovic revealed how it felt when she once experienced doubts on the courts
In the second episode of Break Point, Tomljanovic revealed what was going through her mind during a 6-4 6-0 2022 Australian Open first-round defeat against Paula Badosa.
Tomljanovic got the break back to cut the deficit to 5-4, but then missed three game points in the 10th game as Badosa broke to win the first set. Tomljanovic never recovered from that as she didn’t win a single game in the…
