It’s official, Caitlin Clark is the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year.
The Indiana Fever guard put on a show all season long, and the league just confirmed what we already knew, she’s a star. Clark received a whopping 66 out of 67 votes from a national panel of sportswriters and broadcasters, solidifying her place as the standout rookie of the year.
Clark’s Historic Achievement
With this award, Clark becomes the third player in Fever history to earn WNBA Rookie of the Year honors, joining an elite group alongside Aliyah Boston (2023) and Tamika Catchings (2002). She was also named the Associated Press Rookie of the Year on September 22, which is her number.
And if that’s not enough, she was also named to the WNBA All-Rookie Team, alongside Kamilla Cardoso, Leonie Fiebich, Rickea Jackson, and Angel Reese.
