Caitlin Clark ranked behind 3 WNBA stars in ESPN’s best player rankings before new season

Caitlin Clark is one of the WNBA’s best players.

But just how good is she?

ESPN ranks her as the fourth-best player in the league heading into Clark’s second WNBA season for the Indiana Fever.

Here’s how the top-10 breaks down:

  1. A’ja Wilson, Aces
  2. Napheesa Collier, Lynx
  3. Breanna Stewart, Liberty
  4. Caitlin Clark, Fever
  5. Alyssa Thomas, Mercury
  6. Jonquel Jones, Liberty
  7. Sabrina Ionescu, Liberty
  8. Nneka Ogwumike, Storm
  9. Jackie Young, Aces
  10. Kelsey Plum, Sparks

Well, the first thing that stands out is the Liberty having three of the top-seven. Goodness gracious.

Clark’s teammates Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston check in at Nos. 13 and 21 on the list.

The next-highest ranked second-year player on the list is Angel Reese, at No. 25.
