Iowa’s Caitlin Clark has pasted her name all over the Hawkeyes women’s basketball record books. On Super Bowl Sunday, she’s taking aim at the NCAA record book.
Entering Sunday’s game at Nebraska, Clark needs 39 points to surpass Kelsey Plum as the all-time leader in NCAA Division 1 scoring. Clark is averaging 32.2 points per game this season and has scored at least 39 points twice this season. She has also scored 38 points three times, which would tie Plum’s mark at 3,527 points.

In Iowa’s first game against Nebraska this season on Jan. 27, Clark scored 38 points on 12-for-22 shooting, including 8-for-15 from three-point range.
No. 2 Iowa enters the game tied for first place with Ohio State atop the Big Ten at 11-1. Nebraska is tied for fourth in the Big Ten at 7-5 and is 15-8 overall.
Ticket prices have soared for Sunday’s game at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln.
