Caitlin Clark is back in competition this week — just not on the basketball court.
The WNBA sensation may be in the offseason for her hoops schedule, but she is keeping herself busy in the sporting world. Clark is taking part in “The Annika” this week, an LPGA Pro-Am event hosted by golf legend Annika Sorenstam.
A star herself, the 22-year-old will be paired with World No. 1 golfer Nelly Korda. Clark gets the chance to compare her game against the American, who is a two-time major champion and an Olympic gold medalist.
The competition takes place at Pelican Golf Club in Bellaire, Fla., and considering Clark’s popularity in the sporting world, more eyes than ever are expected to be on the field competition in the Pro-Am.
With Clark set to tee off, The Sporting News is tracking her results from “The Annika.”
