Iowa guard Caitlin Clark had her 39th career game with more than 30 points, breaking Kelsey Plum’s record for the most in NCAA Division I women’s college hoops history. Here’s what you need to know:
- The senior notched her 30th point in the fourth quarter of a 113-90 win against Drake. She finished with 35 points, 10 assists, six rebounds and seven steals.
- Plum, who played at Washington, set the previous mark of 38 30-point games in 2017.
- With one more 30-plus point game, Clark will match the overall NCAA record, which was set by Detroit’s Antoine Davis last season. And with two more games, she’ll own the overall record.
Caitlin Clark now holds the record for most 30-point games in Division I women’s basketball 👏
