Caitlin Clark announced her intention to enter the WNBA Draft on Thursday, but her record-setting season at Iowa is far from over.
Not only do Clark and the Hawkeyes still have a national championship on their minds, but the reigning player of the year still has more records to break. She’s on track to break Pete Maravich’s NCAA scoring record on Sunday, days after breaking the unofficial women’s scoring record held by Lynette Woodard.
Clark is also making history from beyond the arc. She set the NCAA women’s single-season record for 3-pointers in Wednesday’s blowout of Minnesota, and the overall single season record co-owned by Stephen Curry is now well within reach.
