Charleston won a program record 13 CAA games to earn the third seed and went 2-0 against North Carolina A&T, who also had 13 league victories and is seeded fourth, collecting the final bye into the quarterfinals.

The tournament begins Wednesday with two first-round matchups. No. 12 Hampton and No. 13 Hofstra tip off at 2 p.m. before No. 11 Northeastern faces No. 14 UNCW at 4:30 p.m. Second-round action begins on Thursday at noon as No. 8 Campbell takes on No. 9 Elon.
