A numerical look at pickleball’s largest-ever tournament
The 2023 Biofreeze USA Pickleball National Championships officially begins on Sunday, November 5 at Brookhaven Country Club in Farmers Branch, TX, an inner-ring suburb of Dallas.
The event marks pickleball’s largest-ever tournament with over 3,500 competitors hitting the courts in front of an estimated 20,000 attendees over the course of the week-long celebration of America’s fastest-growing sport.
World No. 1s Ben Johns and Anna Leigh Waters headline a star-studded pro player field, which also features men’s players Federico Staksrud, Tyson McGuffin, Jay Devilliers, Collin Johns, Julian Arnold, Dylan Frazier, and JW Johnson, and women’s players Catherine Parenteau, Anna Bright, Hurricane Tyra Black, Irina Tereschenko, Lauren Stratman, Callie Jo Smith and Jorja Johnson, and many more.
