Head Coach Lucie Schmidhauser was impressed with the team’s professionalism and grit, “Our team has faced a lot of adversity lately, but the women keep battling and competing so hard, no matter what the obstacles. It is truly a pleasure to coach a team of players who are so focused on the process of getting better, day in and day out. This type of mindset doesn’t always necessarily show in results, but today it went our way.”

Brown’s next challenge is a doubleheader on Saturday.
